5000tpd clinker dry process rotary kiln cement plant

Process Description 
1) Crushing 
During the process of cement production, most of the raw materials need to be crushed, such as limestone, clay, iron ore, coal, etc. Limestone occupies the largest percentage of raw material in cement production, and it has larger particle size and higher hardness. So limestone crushing has an important position during the material crushing process for our cement making machine. 

2) Raw material preparation 
In the cement production process of our 5000tpd cement production line, each ton of Portland cement requires to grind at least 3 tons of materials, including all kinds of raw materials, fuel, clinker, gypsum, mixture, etc. According to statistics, for the dry cement production line, grinding power consumption is more than 60% of the total power consumption, which includes more than 30% grinding power consumption of raw material, 3% coal grinding and 40% cement powder grinding. 

3) Raw material pre-homogenization 
Pre-homogenization is carried out to ensure the ground raw material homogenized. 

4) Raw material homogenization 
In dry process cement production, stabilizing raw material components is the premise of clinker sintering. Raw material homogenize system is used for stabilizing raw material components in the kiln. 

5) Preheating and decomposition 
This 5000tpd cement production line uses preheater to finish preheating and decomposition of raw materials, replacing part of the capabilities of rotary kiln and reduce the length of rotary kiln. 

6) Precalcining 
Precalcining technology is a technological leap of cement calcination process. The calciner is creatively installed between the preheater and the rotary kiln with a newly-added risen flue and a fuel injection device, which makes exothermic process of fuel combustion and endothermic process of raw material calcining quickly generate materials of suspending or fluid state in the calciner. The calcining rate of raw materials can increase to 90%. 

7) Sintering 
After preheating and precalcining in cyclones, the next step is to convey the raw materials to the rotary kiln for clinker sintering. In the rotary kiln, raw materials are heated up to 1450°C for decarbonation. As the temperature of material rises, minerals in the materials will be dissolved into liquid status, and a large amount of clinker will be generated. As cement clinker sinters, the temperature decreases, and with cooling machine, high-temperature clinker will be cooled and discharged for storage. 

8) Cement grinding 
For cement making machine, cement grinding is the final process of cement making, and it requires the largest power consumption. Clinker produced by this 5000tpd cement production line will be conveyed to the rotating drum after cooling. It will be crushed into fine powder, and gypsum is added to the mix during grinding to form cement. 

9) Cement packing 
Bag or bulk packing is available for cement packing. Cement made by the cement making machine is directly conveyed to silos (large storage tanks of cement) from the grinding mills, and then it's further packed into bags of around 20-40kg. The remaining cement produced by the 5000tpd cement production line is stored in steel silos and waited to be transported in bulk by means of truck, rail or ship.
