Cement production line is the production line construction project composed by a series of corollary equipments which are used for producing cement. It is mainly composed by crushing equipments, homogenization equipments, raw material preparation equipments, drying equipments, preheating and predecomposition equipments, clinker sintering/calcination equipments, cooling equipments, grinding equipments, packaging equipments, conveying equipments, environmental production dust collection equipments etc.

The principal material of cement production are limestone and clay, and they're turned into raw meal through crushing, burdening (dosing), and grinding by vertical roller mill, then calcinated to clinker after feeding into cement rotary kiln. Then adding proper gypsum (plaster) and portion mixed materials or admixture/additive, and becomes cement by processing of roller press and cement mill. At last be transported out of factory by package equipment or bulk machine.
To different raw material preparation method, the production line can be divided into dry process and wet process.
Dry process cement production technological process is to dry and grind raw material at one time, or to dry grinding raw meal powder first and then feed into the dry process rotary kiln for calcinating to clinker. There is also an approach named semi- dry method, which needs put in appropriate water into the raw material powder to make into the raw material ball, and then feed in into the Lepol kiln, it is also belongs to one of dry process.
The main advantage of dry process is low heat consumption, which is 3140-3768J/KG for clinker of dry process kiln with pre-heater. While its weakness is that raw material ingredient is not easy to be uniform/well-distributed, dusty workshop and high powder consumption.
Wet process cement production process is the way to grind raw material to raw slurry with water and then feed into wet process rotary kiln for clinker. There is also an approach to dry raw material thick liquid into raw chunk, and then feed into the kiln, which named semi-wet process, also belongs to wet process.
The advantage of wet process is easy operation, easy control of raw material ingredient, high quantity product, convenient convey of thick liquid, and little dust of workshop etc. The weakness is huge heat consumption and usually the clinker heat consumption is 5234-6490J/KG.
