Structure and working principle

Vertical roller mill is mainly composed of roller, grinding plate, pressure device and powder selection mechanism (separator), base, casing, transmission device and lubricating device. The ground materials are fed from the waist of the vertical mill and piled up in the middle of the rotary grinding plate. The grinding disc in the casing is driven by the transmission device to rotate, and the grinding roller rotates around the grinding roller shaft under the friction of the grinding disc. The material falls into the center of the grinding plate through the air-locking feeding device and the feeding port, and moves towards the edge of the grinding plate under the action of centrifugal force. When passing the grinding track, it is meshed between the grinding roller and the grinding plate for rolling and crushing. The crushing pressure of the grinding roller relative to the material and the grinding plate is provided by the hydraulic stretching device. The appropriate crushing pressure can be adjusted according to the hardness of different materials.

The vertical roller mill can be equipped with 2, 3 or 4 grinding rollers according to the production requirements. The vertical mill can not only be used for the grinding of cement raw materials, but also suitable for the grinding of coal and the grinding of blast furnace slag and cement clinker which are difficult to grind. It can be divided into following types according to the material to be processed by vertical roller mill.
