Design Basis 
1. Codes & standards 
Chinese standards (GB Code) will be adopted for mechanical operation / process, electrical practice & automation, civil design and environmental protection, etc. Manufacturing & fabrication codes & standards for mechanical and electrical equipment: Chinese standards (GB Code). 
2. Equipment 
Mainly consists of cyclone preheater, precalciner, rotary kiln and grate cooler. 
3. Production Capacity 
Our cement clinker production line enjoys production capacity of 2000t/d clinker. 
4. Raw material 
Qualified limestone, clay and iron oxide are used as raw materials for raw meal preparation. Gypsum is utilized as retarder in cement.

Limestone crushing system 
1.1 Performance guarantee 
Under normal operation conditions, the average output of crusher: ≥ 450t/h 
1.2 Prerequisite to guarantee 
The performance guarantee shall be based on the following conditions: 
1) Bond index for limestone: 10~13kWh/t 
2) Limestone feed size: ≤1000 × 800 × 800mm, natural gradation 
3) Moisture: ≤2% 
Limestone pre-blending stockpile 
2.1 Performance guarantee 
Standard deviation of SCaO from the pre-blending stockpile: ≤1.2% 
2.2 Prerequisite to guarantee 
The performance guarantee shall be based on the following conditions: 
1. CaO shall be analyzed at least one time every two hours 
2. Continuous and stable feeding of stacker shall be ensured 
Raw material grinding 
3.1 Performance guarantee 
Average raw material production: ≥160t/h 
Average raw meal fineness: ≤14% (residue on 90μm square mesh sieve) 
Average raw material moisture: ≤0.5% 
Power consumption for each ton of raw meal: 18kWh/t 
Equipment: main drive of roller mill, mill separator, mill fan 
3.2 Prerequisite to guarantee 
The raw meal shall be made of limestone, mixture, iron oxide and clay

1) The CaO, SiO2 and Fe2O3 shall be analyzed at least one time every hour 
2) At least 70% of homogenizing silo shall be occupied 
3) Moisture of raw meal in the homogenizing silo: ≤1% 
4) The chemical compositions of the kiln feed shall be analyzed with fluorescence analyzer 
Clinker calcination 
5.1 Performance guarantee 
1) Clinker output: ≥2000t/d 
2) Specific heat consumption of clinker: ≤ 780kCal/kg 
Temperature at cyclones outlet: ≤ 350±10°C 
3) Average free CaO in clinker: ≤ 1.2 % 
4) The average temperature of clinker from the cooler: ambient temperature + 65°C 
5.2 Prerequisite to guarantee 
The performance guarantee shall be based on the following conditions: 
1) Natural gas calorific value: ≥8500kcal/ Nm3 
2) Lime saturation factor of clinker: KH=0.90±0.01 
3) Silica modulus: SM=2.6±0.10 
4) Alumina modulus: IM=1.6±0.1 
5) The modulus can be adjusted to suit for the actual raw material 
Dedusting 
6.1 Performance guarantee 
1) For kiln inlet/outlet bag filter: dust content of emitted gas: ≤20mg/Nm3 
2) For other bag filters: ≤30mg/Nm3 
6.2 Prerequisite to guarantee 
The measuring of dust content in emitted gas must be made on the basis of normal production of every section, normal equipment performance and operation. 
Cement grinding 
7.1 Performance guarantee (of each cement mill) 
Average production: ≥ 2 × 75t/h 
Average fineness: ≤3200 Blaine 
Power consumption per ton of cement: 36kWh/t (max.) 
Equipment: main drive of mill, mill separator and mill fan 
7.2 Prerequisite to guarantee 
1) The cement mixture should be proportioned with clinker (95%), gypsum (5%). Percentages are on dry basis 
2) Additive particle size: ≤ 25mm (90%) 
3) Additive moisture: ≤0.5% 
Power consumption 
8.1 Performance guarantee 
Specific power consumption from raw material crushing to cement dispatch: ≤100kWh/t. 
8.2 Prerequisite to guarantee
